New documents help customers during installation and upgrade of multiple products

McAfee Engineering has released a new set of documents to provide customers with specific advice about:

• Which versions of McAfee products work together optimally during an installation or upgrade 
• The sequence of operations for each product during the installation or upgrade

These documents, called Reference Configurations, are McAfee-recommended deployment scenarios that have undergone extensive testing to ensure proper sequencing and improve ease of execution.

Each reference configuration document contains a product mix that has been validated to work together properly for a specific type of customer profile.
Ten specific scenarios are currently published. The focus of these is Endpoint Security and VirusScan Enterprise, along with commonly used products based on telemetry.  More will be added each quarter as new product versions are released.
