VirusScan Enterprise 8.8 Hotfix 1187884 Now Available

VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) 8.8 Hotfix 1187884 is now available.

This hotfix provides coverage for CVE-2017-0428 as described in SB10093 (https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=SB10193).

NOTES:

• This Hotfix supports both VSE 8.8 Patch 8 and Patch 9
• This release adds a new Access Protection rule, "Prevent modification of VirusScan IFEO keys and values".

To download the hotfix, log in to the ServicePortal (https://support.mcafee.com). Then click the Downloads tab and search for "1187884".
