Intel Security announces the End of Life (EOL) for McAfee Data Loss Prevention Endpoint 9.3.x effective September 15th, 2017.

Intel Security recommends upgrading to DLPe 9.4 or DLPe 10 to benefit from the latest software developments, and to avoid interruption of product support.

EPO Deep Command (EDC) 2.4.1 is now available. This release includes new features, fixes, and enhancements including:

• Intel® AMT policy enhancement: Configure the Local Access policy with Default Agent Handler.
• Guided Configuration enhancements: You can now select individual systems to configure.
• Installer changes: Use the Discovery plug-in wizard to discover Intel® AMT systems that are managed in non-McAfee ePO environment.
• Intel® AMT redirection actions (IDE-Redirect or Serial-over-LAN) now use Microsoft SSL instead of OpenSSL.

This update includes the following:

• Improved rule 3896 to monitor and protect MySQL database.
